Alsa helped sponsor the 2008 Civic Tour. On Thursday January 10th, platinum and award winning group Panic At The Disco, helped to unveil the new 2008 Honda Civic Sedan Hybrid. Mark Hoppus of +44 and Blink 182 to hosted the event. Panic at the Disco, whose sophomore album will be released on March 25, gave a select group of VIP's and media an intimate concert before the introduction of the new civic. Special guest, Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy also attended the event.

2008 HONDA CIVIC CUSTOMIZATION DETAILS

Custom Paint The exterior of the car features an environmentally conscious "Surreal Earth" theme graphically directed by Panic At The Disco, designed by Shepard Fairey's Studio Number One and custom painted and airbrushed by Santini USA and DVS Designs. ALSA Corp's Hawaiian Hues and Mystic colors showcase the transition from ground to sky featuring roots, grass, flowers, trees, animals, insects and clouds and Candy Concentrates were added to the Speed Clear to give the colors richer pigments. Other custom graphics include the PATD logo featured on the hood with each band members' autograph on separate doors and the Honda Civic Tour logo adorning the rear bumper.

Alsa Corp is proud to partner up with HONDA, ALPINE, HONDA FACTORY PERFORMANCE (HFP), XM SATELLITE RADIO DUNLOP, EIBACH, KONIG, MEGUAIR'S.

Santini U.S.A. and DVS Designs were contacted to paint this year's tour vehicles as Pete and Nik Santini are no strangers to the Civic Tour - They have been painting custom civics since 2001. DVS Designs, "Dany Scholz" joined the project this year. Dany along with Santini, are resposible for very creative and visual array of colors. Dany airbrushed a surreal paint scheme design using Alsa's Hawaiian Hues for a vibrant use of colors. The surreal design included cats, air balloons and flowers to simulate a "time machine". The artist and Panic at the Disco kept a continuity of an eco-friendly to coincide with the band's environmental actions that is part of the 2008 Civic Tour. All of the contributors did a great job of getting the band's vision from drawings to a custom painted civic.
